Once a resting place for pilgrims on their way to Rome, the 13th-century villa has been fully restored into a sixteen-bedroom haven with hotel-worthy amenities. Though it feels like its own world, the property is close to both Florence and Siena.
Tucked among the manicured lawns and paths, you’ll find the orchard and organic vegetable garden whose produce graces the dinner table. The grounds also include a pool and jetted tub, outdoor shower, playground and tennis, basketball and bocce courts. Have a drink at the pool bar, whip up dinner on the grill and dine under the Tuscan sun and moon or under the pergola. Kids will enjoy the ping-pong table and trampoline, while adults will appreciate the Wi-Fi access, wine cellar and on-site spa.
